               About Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen Elizabeth National Park, located in southwestern Uganda, is a renowned biodiversity hotspot and one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations. Spanning approximately 1,978 square kilometers, the park is bordered by Lake George and Lake Edward, connected by the Kazinga Channel, a prime spot for boat safaris. The landscape is a picturesque blend of savannah, bushland, wetlands, and lush forests, supporting a diverse array of wildlife. Notable species include African elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and over 600 bird species, making it a paradise for bird watchers.

The park is also home to the famous tree-climbing lions of Ishasha and the Kyambura Gorge, known for its chimpanzee trekking.
